Terms of Service

Effective date: October 23, 2026

Last updated: October 23, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ConfluxCalendar website and services (the “Service”), operated by ConfluxCalendar (“ConfluxCalendar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account, clicking to accept these Terms, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Who May Use the Service

You may use the Service only if:

  • You are at least 18 years old, and
  • You have the legal authority to enter into these Terms and to provide the schedule data and information you submit to the Service.

ConfluxCalendar is intended for adults (such as parents, guardians, coaches, team managers, and busy professionals) who manage schedules for themselves, their families, or their teams. Children under 13 are not permitted to create accounts or use the Service directly.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old; and
  • Any information you provide about children or other individuals is provided with appropriate authority and consent.

2. Description of the Service

ConfluxCalendar helps you consolidate, customize, and share schedules from multiple sources in one place. Features of the Service may include:

  • Importing external calendar feeds (such as .ics and webcal:// subscriptions from TeamSnap, GameChanger, SwimTopia, SportEasy, BYGA, MOJO, Google Calendar, Outlook, and other platforms)
  • Creating and managing manual calendars and custom single or recurring events
  • Applying automated rules to filter, prefix titles, shift start times, override durations, or generate companion split events (such as pre-game warm-ups)
  • Generating individualized outbound .ics calendar subscription links for use in third-party calendar applications
  • Sending automated email notifications when upcoming schedule changes are detected within 24 hours (on eligible subscription plans)

We may update, modify, add, or remove features of the Service from time to time.

3. Account Registration and Security

To use the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address and password or an supported authentication provider (such as Google Sign-In). You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and private outbound calendar URLs
  • Notify us promptly at support@confluxcalendar.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or used the Service in a manner that may cause harm to us, other users, or third parties.

4. Your Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

You are responsible for how you use the Service and for all content and calendar feeds you import, create, or distribute through the Service. You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
  • Infringe or violate the rights of others, including privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights
  • Upload, import, transmit, or store content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other user accounts, or related systems and networks (including SSRF, probing, or automated scraping)
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the operation or background synchronization infrastructure of the Service

If you share your outbound .ics subscription links with other individuals (such as family members, caregivers, or grandparents), you are responsible for that sharing. Anyone with access to an outbound subscription link can view the events included in that export feed until you delete or modify the export feed in your dashboard.

5. Third-Party Services and Integrations

The Service allows you to import calendar feeds from and subscribe via third-party platforms (such as TeamSnap, GameChanger, SwimTopia, SportEasy, Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and Microsoft Outlook). ConfluxCalendar is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these third-party providers unless explicitly stated.

Your use of any third-party service is governed by that service's own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, formatting, or security of third-party calendar feeds or calendar client applications.

6. Automated Synchronization, Rules, and Schedule Accuracy

A core aspect of ConfluxCalendar is periodic background synchronization and automated rule processing (such as title tagging, start-time shifting, duration overrides, and companion event generation). You understand and agree that:

  • External calendar sources may experience outages, rate limits, formatting changes, or delays in publishing schedule updates
  • External calendar apps (such as Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and Outlook) control their own refresh intervals when polling your ConfluxCalendar outbound .ics feed
  • Automation rules you configure modify event times, durations, or titles according to your criteria, which may alter how events appear compared to the original source
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing your rules and confirming the accuracy of your schedules before relying on them

ConfluxCalendar is provided for convenience and personal organization. It is not a guaranteed source of official schedule information. You should always confirm critical event details (such as game times, practice changes, and locations) with your team, coach, school, or official schedule source. We are not liable for missed games, practices, tournaments, appointments, or other events, or for any consequences of errors, delays, or omissions in schedule data, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Your Content and Our License

In these Terms, “Content” means any information you provide, import, or create in the Service, including calendar feed URLs, event titles, descriptions, locations, manual events, and rule configurations.

You retain any ownership rights you have in your Content. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your Content to us. To operate the Service, you grant ConfluxCalendar a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • Fetch, host, cache, store, reproduce, modify (pursuant to your configured rules), and display your Content as needed to provide and maintain the Service
  • Distribute your aggregated schedules through the outbound .ics subscription URLs you generate and share
  • Process your Content using third-party infrastructure providers (such as cloud database, storage, and email notification providers) that support the Service

This license is limited to operating and improving the Service and ends when your Content is deleted from our systems in accordance with our data retention practices and Privacy Policy.

8. Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, software, rule engine, text, graphics, logos, and other materials (excluding your Content), is owned by or licensed to ConfluxCalendar and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for managing schedules for yourself, your family, or your teams/organizations in accordance with these Terms and your selected subscription plan.

9. Subscriptions, Free Trials, and Billing

ConfluxCalendar offers a Free Basic Plan as well as paid subscription plans (including Family and Pro tiers) billed on a monthly or annual basis. Paid plans may include a 14-day free trial for eligible first-time subscribers:

  • Free Basic Plan: All users receive free access to the Basic plan with essential calendar aggregation capabilities and ad support at no cost.
  • Free Trials: First-time subscribers to a paid plan receive a 14-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, billing begins automatically according to the selected plan and interval.
  • Automatic Renewal: Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each monthly or annual billing cycle unless you cancel prior to the renewal date through your Billing Dashboard or Stripe Customer Portal.
  • Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By providing a payment method, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge the applicable subscription fees and taxes.
  • Plan Changes & Cancellations: You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your paid subscription at any time from the Billing page. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, after which your account automatically reverts to the Free Basic plan with applicable feature and quota limits. Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. You may also request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@confluxcalendar.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, or remove your Content, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, your use poses a security or legal risk to us or third parties, or we are required to do so by law. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONFLUXCALENDAR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AS WELL AS ANY WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR THAT ANY SCHEDULE DATA OR NOTIFICATIONS WILL BE ACCURATE, TIMELY, OR COMPLETE. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • ConfluxCalendar and its owners, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (b) any errors, inaccuracies, delays, or omissions in schedule data, rules, or notifications; or (c) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or your account.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to ConfluxCalendar to use the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (US $100.00).

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ConfluxCalendar and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service will be governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Washington, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in such courts.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice (for example, by email or an in-app notification). Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
